2 - Using WinImage (Or any other image burning software) select "Disk" > "Restore Virtual hard Disk Image on physical drive..." then select the extracted .ima file to be burned on your USB flash device as a bootable OS, ensure you USB flash device is large enough to fit the OS (arround 4GB of size)
3 - Alter your PC/Laptop boot options to look for the USB device first, this will detect any bootable OS's on the USB device, otherwise it will continue booting normally from your hard drive.
4 - To successfully login using your Gmail account you need to have a DHCP-enabled network cable physically connected to your machine to be able to connect to the Internet and process your login, once you are in, you can enable a wireless network to be used, however, no authentication inside Chromium OS is currently supported, so in other words you have to have your wireless connection open with no authentication, not really a good choice.
UPDATE (November 25th) USB-Bootable Installation for the Dell Mini 10v Chromium OS Image:
For some reason, the Chromium OS image for the Dell Mini 10v build is insanely large, it took me few days to download it of the Dell's very slow servers, the Dell guys claims this image supports Wi-Fi access. I tried it on a USB device it does work fine with the regular network cable connected to my Lenovo laptop.
1 - Download the 5 files from these links then extract the compressed .img file with WinRAR

2 - Follow the same installation steps for USB-Bootable or VMWare/VirtualBox above, since the OS files here are larger you need to have a bigger USB flash device if you are installing as USB-Bootable (around 8GB of size). Let us know if you manage to connect through a Wireless connection using this build.
